Quality & Editorial Guidelines

  • Original only: Your submission must be unique and not published elsewhere.
  • Evidence & clarity: Use screenshots, examples, or references where helpful.
  • Structure: Short intro → clear sections with sub-headings → key takeaways.
  • Length: 900–1,800 words (tutorials can be longer; news/explainers can be shorter if crisp).
  • Formatting: Use H2/H3, short paragraphs, bullet lists, and numbered steps for tutorials.
  • Links: Add 1–3 credible sources. Include 1–2 relevant internal links to Human to Tech posts (if known).
  • Tone: Helpful, neutral, and human. Avoid fluff, sensational claims, or unverified info.

Images & Media

  • Include your own screenshots where possible (PNG/JPG, width ≥ 1200px preferred).
  • Stock or CC images must include license compliance and attribution if required.
  • File names should be descriptive (e.g., android-privacy-dashboard-step2.png).

SEO Best Practices (Simple)

  • Clear, benefit-driven title (no clickbait).
  • One main focus keyword naturally in title, intro, and a sub-heading.
  • Use descriptive alt text for images.
  • End with a brief summary or action checklist.

What to Send

  • Working title + 3–5 bullet outline of key sections
  • 1–2 lines on who the article is for (beginner, intermediate, advanced)
  • Sample paragraph (5–7 sentences) to show tone and depth
  • Optional: 1–3 links to your previous writing or portfolio
  • Short author bio (40–60 words) + a profile link

How to Submit

Email your pitch or draft to contact@humantotech.com with the subject line: “Write for Human to Tech – [Your Topic]”. You can attach a Google Doc (with view access) or a .docx file.

Review & Editing

  • We typically respond within 5–10 business days.
  • Edits may be requested for clarity, accuracy, or style consistency.
  • We may update headlines, sub-heads, and images for readability and SEO.
